  1. That was amazing !😍
Finally, a movie not focussing on party, sex and drugs. Beautiful story line. Loved it.
Will be added to the Xmas tradition as "make the yuletide gay"

  2. We dont celebrate Christmas but thank god I didnt watch this movie during Christmas but loved the movie😁😁😁😁

  3. This was the most wholesome movie I have ever seen. No disfunctional family drama. Just love and peace and a beautiful ending. It is pure joy ❤

  4. Carrie Bradshaw just transitioned into a gay man and I’m loving it! Too bad it’s not a series. This would work long term with more defined characters. Too bad you only made a movie. 💀 I truly loved it though. 💜

  5. The acting and actors were excellent. BUT…
There was little to no background or development of Philemon Chamber's character: his friends, his family…😒

I hope they make him from another country to explain why his personal life is so… Nonexistent.

Hopefully there will be a part 2 or even a Netflix series coming up, where he take his new BF to visit his family and friends back home 🤷🏿‍♂️

Philemon Chambers was a breath of fresh air. I crave more from him. Cute, sexy, commanding…a true talent. ✊🏿

  6. Was anyone else confused by this trailer "we're going to tell my family we're dating" five seconds later his family is setting him up on a blind date and the guy that is supposedly pretending to be his bf agrees he should do it. 😕

  7. By the title alone I thought this movie would be about a bunch of single people during the holidays. I still kind of wish it was! Especially if the story ended with accepting that they are single and that it's okay to not be romantically involved during the holidays.

  8. Shame on Netflix for dropping this, we need to see more like this rather than the standard teen angst type (I love Love Simon, but need more grown up stories).

  9. This movie is so sweet, romantic, and funny. I adored it. I loved it so much I watched it twice in a week – such a feel good movie.

  10. This was such a disappointment. The last half was so badly written. I wish Netflix put a little more effort into its originals. This could have been a moment.

  11. The only problem I have with this movie is the fact they NEVER pretended to date in front of the family but it seems like the movie is advertised that way. Peter litearlly date another guy for half the movie and everyone knew. Still cute story tho

  12. I saw this the first day it premiered on Netflix. It's so cute, sweet, and romantic. I loved it. And the family is so cute. Even James was great. This is how LGBTQIA+ movies should be fun , light, happy, romantic. It doesn't have to be dark and depressing all the time in every movie/show.
